WSU’s American Summer Program is for students from around the globe that are interested in studying in America for a short period of time.
We ask this so we can match your application to your transcripts. This is your full name that appears on identifying documents (such as birth certificate, social security card, marriage certificate, or other government issued document.)
Generational designations which follow a person’s full name, such as "Sr", "Jr", and "III".
A preferred first name is a name that you commonly use that may be different from your legal first name.
WSU recognizes that people may identify their gender and/or sex in non-binary ways. Federal reporting requires we report on binary categories. Once a student enrolls, legal sex can be changed (including to legal sex "X") with the appropriate documents. The student's academic record will then reflect their correct gender and/or sex identity. If you have questions, please contact Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC) at GIESORC@wsu.edu.
Please submit photocopy of the identification page of your passport. If you choose to not upload at this time please upload it through your application portal or email it to international@wsu.edu
The Certificate of Eligibility (U.S. Department of Homeland Security form I-20) will not be issued until you are admitted and confirmed, and sufficient financial support is verified by WSU (i.e. the Certificate of Finances form is completed and submitted along with the Official Bank Letter). To learn more about the Certificate of Finances form and required amount of finances please see our webpage: https://ip.wsu.edu/learn-english/asp/.
