We’re excited to invite you and your family to a diverse and inclusive family story time. Join us on Zoom where we will be reading, Lailah’s Lunchbox a Ramadan Story, by Reem Faruqi. Attending this event will count towards earning your Empowerall certificate. Lailah is in a new school in a new country, thousands of miles from her old home, and missing her old friends. When Ramadan begins, she is excited that she is finally old enough to participate in the fasting but worried that her classmates won’t understand why she doesn’t join them in the lunchroom. That’s not all – we’ve prepared an engaging activity that will make the evening even more special.
The first 10 families to register by 03/14 for this event will receive an exclusive activity kit that promises extra fun and excitement.
