PharmD Webinar: Bridging the Rural Health Care Gap

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 4:00 PM until 5:30 PMPacific Daylight Time UTC -07:00

In the state of Washington alone, almost 3 million people live in areas faced with a shortage of health professionals. At WSU you can learn to help bridge the gap and serve the communities that need it most.

Join us for a conversation with Dr. Megan Undeberg, one of our faculty members and Director of Rural Health Curriculum. She has extensive background in rural health care, including practice in a multisite rural setting, where she provided medication therapy management services for inpatient, outpatient, transitions of care, medication reconciliation, and antimicrobial stewardship for a critical access hospital and family medicine clinic. Additionally, she has experience in compounding unique, individualized medications for human and veterinary patients, and she served as the clinical pharmacist for the internal medicine teaching rounds team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. She will share her educational and clinical journey and will provide information about the Rural Health Initiative, an exclusive program at WSU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. You won’t want to miss this!
