Pullman Group Visit Request Form

Thank you for your interest in a group tour at WSU! A few notes before you fill out a visit request form:

Group visits through New Student Enrollment Visitation are geared towards high school and transfer students. We welcome schools as well as special interest groups (such as AVID and TRIO) serving high school and transfer students to request visits.
A minimum of two weeks is required to plan a group visit. Please make the request as early as possible to ensure we have time to secure appropriate staffing!
All presentations and tours are in English unless requested and arranged ahead of time. We cannot guarantee the staff availability for other languages, so please request this with multiple week notice.
If your group's needs can be met with a general campus tour, you can have each student sign up to attend here. These visits cover similar information such as admissions, scholarships, resources on campus, etc. Example: groups under 15 students who only want an admissions presentation and campus tour.
This request form is intended for usage by groups who want to visit WSU's flagship campus in Pullman. If you are interested in visiting any of WSU's other campuses as part of the same trip, you will need to contact them directly. To request your region's admissions counselor present at your school or community college please contact them directly.

Groups requesting an individualized visit should be at least 15 students. Groups larger than 100 students must contact us ahead of scheduling to ensure we can meet your needs. Please do not include chaperones in the projected student attendee count.

In order to facilitate a pleasant experience for both your group and our office, during your visit, we ask that a few guidelines are followed by you and your students. Guidelines must be signed as the last part of your request.

A registration link will be provided to you and all students are expected to complete the registration no later than two days prior to visit. If chaperones are providing information, they must submit ALL required information for each student. The information needs to be accurate for each student and cannot be made up or genericized. Without accurate information for each student, we cannot host the group.

Saturday events fill very quickly, and we often close registration two or more weeks before an event. All students in your group should register as quickly as possible after we confirm your visit. A registration link will be provided to you and all students are expected to complete the registration. Once registration is at capacity and closed, we cannot guarantee any additional students can be accommodated.

Timely Arrival

Prior to your visit you will receive an itinerary for the day. Please arrive on time. If your group is more than 15 minutes late for the tour, we may need to shorten your tour experience. Please call the WSU Welcome Center at 509-335-4980 if your group is running more than 15 minutes late.

If you have requested experiences in addition to the admission presentation and tour, WSU tour guides will escort groups to their first obligation after their tour. For all later meetings, groups will walk themselves to locations and arrive on time. Groups who are late to resource presentations risk the presentations being canceled.

Students will be assigned to attend academic presentations based on their personal academic interest. These presentations are exceptions to the chaperone rule as we understand the number of academic presentations being attended may outnumber the chaperones. Chaperones will have a plan to reunite with their group(s) following the academic presentation. Please let us know if you would like a recommended meet-up location.

The campus visit will include a substantial amount of walking. Please encourage each student and chaperone to dress appropriately for the weather with comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Water bottles are encouraged.

Students are to be respectful to tour guides, staff, and students around the WSU campus. Any disrespectful behavior will result in a cancelation of the tour and any later events. Tour guides and presenters reserve the right to cancel sections of your visit due to rude or disruptive behavior.

This is for the safety of our staff, students and visiting groups. We will notify groups as soon as closures are announced. This may be less than 24 hours before your visit.
